I have some experience watching scary videos on youtube and I will show you some of the best, in my opinion, channels on youtube for scary storytelling. Some of them are even based on true stories!

Number 1 : Mr. Nightmare
According to mr.nightmares bio on youtube : “Here you will find straight to the point videos which mostly consist of scary true stories & events.” He publishes mostly true stories that users send in to him.
In my opinion he is one of the best scary storytellers out there and knows how to put the scare in you if you like listening to true scary stories. Id recommend him for a start if you are not used to listening or looking for interesting youtube videos, this is a comfortable start, if comfortable can be the right word.
Among his top videos is one about school lockdown and stories about that, and even a video that shows real camera footage from real life. It doesnt get anymore real than that!

Number 2: Lazy masquerade
Lazy masquerade is another scary youtube channel basing his stories on unresolved mysteries and creepy true stories.
Only difference is that there are different stories and a different voice telling the stories.
One could argue that Mr. Nightmare has a slightly softer voice and more soothing comfortable voice, but lazy masquerade has a slightly more upbeat voice that does the job perfectly aswell of telling scary stories.
so if you have a late night to spare and have some free time on your hands.. Id recommend this channel aswell for listening to stories. I listen to both of them regularly and cant seem to pick a favourite, but mr nightmare is the more popular of the two.

Number 3: Top 5 Unknowns
Top 5 Unknowns are another scary youtube channel featuring mostly true stories from real life.
Among the top videos there are top freakouts from convicts that have been caught on camera or told about in the videos.
His voice is also quite upbeat and doesnt differ much from lazy masquerade in his story telling style..
So far Mr nightmare is the only one with a calm soothing voice telling stories..
